Personal Use Licence Terms

1. What you may do

Query the API, export and store the Data locally, and use it in your own research, backtests, spreadsheets, and personal trading — with no export limits, no display-only clause, and no field restrictions.

2. What you may not do

Use the Data for, or on behalf of, any business, employer, fund, or client; share your key; make the Data (raw or lightly transformed) available to anyone else; or resell or redistribute it in any form.

This is a personal licence: it must not be purchased or paid for with shared institutional or company resources. A company card on the subscription is treated as commercial use, which requires the Commercial Internal licence.

3. Upstream conditions that travel with the Data

The Data is republished under the reuse licences of the public registers it comes from, and three of their conditions bind you as they bind us. (1) Attribution: where you display or pass on figures from a market whose source requires it, keep the source attribution we embed, including the 'last updated' date for France (INPI RNE licence, art. 2.4 and 4.4) and the Taiwan OGDL notice. (2) Deletions: when a register withdraws a record we remove it on our next update and list it at /api/v1/fundamentals/deletions; if you hold copies, delete the same records within 30 days of their appearance there. (3) Prohibited uses: you may not use the Data to build or offer searches by insolvency, disqualification, sanction or criminal status (INPI RNE licence art. 2.5; French Commercial Code art. A.123-69), and you may not combine it with personal data to profile individuals.

Each market's source, licence and update date are stated on the coverage page and in the `attribution` field of every API response and download.

4. Continuity

Any snapshot or file we deliver to you under a paid licence remains usable under that licence's terms for the purpose it was licensed for, even if this service closes. You may bulk-export everything your tier covers at any time while subscribed. We give at least 90 days' notice of discontinuation to paying licensees.

5. Service levels

The API and downloads are provided on a best-effort basis for Personal licences. For Commercial and Redistribution licences we target 99.5% monthly availability of the API, excluding announced maintenance; if we miss it, your remedy is a credit of the affected month's fee on request. Reported filings are added to the warehouse on the update schedule published per market on the coverage page.

6. Derived results are yours, forever

Anything you CREATE with the Data — backtest results, models, statistics, charts, trading records, research conclusions — is yours. It is not 'Data' under this licence, no clause here restricts it, and you keep it permanently, including after cancellation.

7. On cancellation

Within 30 days of your subscription ending, delete stored copies of the raw Data. Your derived results (above) are unaffected. Free-tier usage may continue on free-tier terms.

8. Honesty about the data

The Data is extracted from official public filings: US SEC EDGAR (public domain); Taiwan Stock Exchange OpenAPI under the Taiwan Open Government Data License 1.0 (attribution embedded in every response); Korea FSS OpenDART (public data — the FSS has confirmed in writing that no separate approval agreement is required); the National Bank of Belgium's Central Balance Sheet Office; INPI's Registre national des entreprises under its state-homologated reuse licence; the Danish Business Authority's published annual reports; and the New Zealand Charities Register (CC BY 3.0 NZ). We publish each figure as first reported, keyed by the date it became public, with its reporting basis (consolidated, solo or as reported) and the source attribution. We do not warrant the filings themselves are error-free, and the Data is provided 'as is' without warranty of any kind.

The Data is factual, historical information. It is not investment advice, not a recommendation, and not an offer of any financial product or service.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WU Capital Limited's total liability under this licence is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for trading losses or consequential loss.

10. Governing law
